Get therapy for your child.
We are ready to help your child receive the gift of confident speech and movement.
Pediatric therapy services include:
Screenings
A screening allows the therapist to obtain an initial impression of a child’s abilities. Screenings should not be used to replace an evaluation, rather help identify a child that would benefit from an assessment and/or therapy services.
Evaluations
A speech-evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of a child’s communication functioning. An evaluation determines if there is a speech-language disorder affecting a child’s development in the following areas: receptive language, expressive language, pragmatic language, phonological awareness, articulation, language processing, stuttering and/or voice disorder.
An occupational therapy evaluation assesses a child’s gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual, handwriting, daily living and sensory processing skills.
Therapies
Therapy sessions are designed based on the needs of the child. The overall goal is to improve a child’s communication skills and functional independence.
